Minister of Education Prof. Ndalichako gives warning to Master of Education

Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Vocational Prof. Joyce Ndalichako, has warned education officials hold accountable the primary schools who fail to manage knowledge and lead students to complete primary school without knowing how to read and write.

Prof. Ndalichako Iringa Urban said the training of inspectors and controllers of the quality of education in schools from 31 districts from the regions of the Southern Highlands.

Prof. Ndalichako has said that it is shameful for students who have studied seven years in the classroom do not know to read and write when auditors and managers of education exist in the areas concerned and asked them to evaluate as they perform their duties properly.

The minister also urged the regulators to conduct an audit of educational books and teaching materials with acceptable quality labels as he promised to consider the needs of the disabled in government schools.

For their part, teachers and the education curators have asked the government to address their concerns and improve the environment, including work done with the funds necessary to run the inspection agency.
